I've been making a lot of things lately. (Yeah yeah yeah Suzie Homemaker, etc....) In addition to the usual cupcakes, I made yogurt, granola and my own dish soap, and Tim and I made dog treats, pickles, frozen yogurt and triple ginger cookies. Soon, we'll attempt string cheese and then who knows what adventure awaits!? My camera is AWOL or else there would be pictures of these wonderful creations...so sad.
All that aside, perhaps the most important thing we've made these past couple weeks is a house. Well, not just the two of us, but lots of people. Last Saturday I joined lots of other volunteers out at the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame to start working on a "Women Build" blitz build home for a local family. Later in the week Natalie and Tim joined me. We nailed up sheathing, braced the attic's 2x4s, nailed up insulation and taped it, and painted the interior. It was exhausting, but fun. Working with Habitat for Humanity has always been something I've enjoyed, and I hope to be able to continue to volunteer on weekends during the school year!
And because words are so boring, here are some pictures:

Being a malpractice lawyer I found this article to be very informative. Help is out there and it’s easier to find if you know what you’re looking for.
Interesting and really well written! Most blogs on the web are not that simple and good like this one.
